AminAg acquires, develops and operates agricultural property with a primary focus in the permanent crop sector. Partnering with high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors, AminAg has been acquiring farmland in California's fertile Central Valley since 1999, and currently owns and operates more than 14,000 acres of permanent crop land in the region, producing almonds, pistachios and walnuts. The Company also leases and operates 421 acres of almonds.
Beginning in 2020, the Company expanded its geographic footprint to Arizona, acquiring and developing 1,905 acres into pistachios. The Company also entered into a long-term agreement as lessee to develop and farm a separate section of 2,198 acres of pistachios. These transactions increase the Company's total farmed land to more than 18,700 gross acres.
